Speaker Mike Simmons, CIC, CRM, Scott Insurance

Mike Simmons is a Risk Performance Advisor with Scott Insurance. Originally from Virginia, he moved to Tennessee in 2017 with his wife and two kids to assume his current role. Mike graduated from Longwood University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. He has been a licensed insurance agent in property, casualty, life & health insurance for over 20 years. During this time, he has continued his education by obtaining a LUTCF (Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow) designation in 2009, 30-Hour OSHA Certification in General Industry in 2010, CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 2014, and completed his CRM (Certified Risk Manager) designation in February of 2024. In 2021, Mike started the Nashville chapter of Mustaches for Kids, a certified 501(c)3 non-profit that recruits men to grow mustaches for 30 days and raise money for local kid’s charities. In the first three years, Mustaches for Kids Nashville has raised over $84,000.00 for three deserving charities.
