Zanini Tennessee is hiring an EHS Supervisor in Winchester, TN.
Role’s mission
Guarantee implementation, analysis, and definition of the actions in order to guarantee safety for all the employees in the company and any other person related with the company activity.
Responsibility Areas of the Role
- Provide, schedule, administer, and coordinate mandatory OSHA training
- Act as Safety Coordinator and lead the safety committee
- Responsible for maintaining and updating SDS logs
- Responsible for completing annual OSHA logs and notifications to include legal recordkeeping requirements
- Assist for near miss, accident, and incident investigations and aid supervisors in conducting
- Assist to coordinate all injuries and reporting with Workers Compensation and TOSHA/OSHA
- Responsible for safety audits and metrics
- Responsible for updating all safety related training in employee training files
- Responsible for assisting managers and supervisors in purchasing safety related supplies
- Responsible for maintenance and distribution of PPE
- Responsible for new hire training and compliance with new hire safety requirements
- Work with employees at all levels to recognize potential safety observations, investigate making any needed Kaizen submissions, and 5Y investigations
- All other safety related tasks and responsibilities
- Developing and enforcing environmental guidelines and practices
- Reviewing and recommending improvements to existing environmental programs for compliance assurance
- Conducting environmental impact assessments and risk evaluations
- Advising on environmental legislation, regulations, and policies
- Researching and analyzing environmental data
- Developing strategies to reduce environmental risk
- Monitoring environmental performance
- Preparing reports and presentations

Advisable professional experience: Knowledge of safety and OSHA requirements, ability to interpret and apply both.
