Middle Tennessee Chapter Donates Time and Money to Room In The Inn

The Middle Tennessee Chapter of ASSP has been a proud donor to Room In The Inn for several decades. Our leadership wanted to do more than just donate money, so in April several members and leaders had the opportunity to take a tour to learn more about the compassionate services and education offered to Nashville’s less fortunate community and the honor of serving lunch for around 200. We only provided a small portion of our day to this great cause, and we as the leadership of ASSP would like to encourage others to volunteer or reach out the Room In The Inn for other opportunities to serve.
Thank you to the members who took time out of their busy schedules to serve the Room In The Inn.
Here is a brief history and the mission of Room In The Inn provided by their website at www.roomintheinn.org.

Thanks to all our Sponsors and participants, especially our Title Sponsor, Brasfield & Gorrie!
As the day opened for the 2021 ASSP Sporting Clays Fun Shoot, it was unseasonably warm. The sun was shining for the start of a wonderful day. The 6 teams converged on the River Course at the Nashville Gun Club, where the competition was fierce. There was a two-way tie for first place with 159 points per team. The winning team came down to the #5 station where the rabbit ultimately prevailed, with T.W. Frierson taking the win. The individual shooter high score went to Damon Hogan with the Tennessee Safety and Health Conference team. We at ASSP would like to thank all our sponsors and teams who made the day a success. I would also like to thank the staff and Safety officers of the Nashville Gun Club for hosting our shoot and providing a fun safe environment.
